Meet the Staff

The Sonoma Kinship Family Center staff is comprised of kinship caregivers, licensed clinicians, as well as staff who are sensitive to the needs and challenges of caregivers. All of our staff at the center are Sonoma County residents.

Susie McGavin, MFT - Director

Susie is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and comes to us from Sunny Hills Services with a 10-year history of working with children and families. She had been serving kinship families in Sonoma County prior to the opening of the center, and she provides presentations for organizations to learn about kinship services. Susie serves on a variety of kinship related advisory boards, creating ongoing professional partnerships for our center.

Linda Wren - Sr. Community Worker

Linda is a kinship caregiver herself and brings a wealth of life-experiences to her position. She has 26 years working in the non-profit sector and human services, and serves on the board of Friends Outside in Sonoma County. Linda is also the center's Program Assistant and will often be the first person you speak with on the phone and she's ready to connect you with resources or staff to assist you.

Patricia Morrow - Community Worker

Patricia is a kinship caregiver who has benefitted from our Guardianship Clinic services. She brings a vast knowledge of experience from her 20+ years in the business world assisting clients with communication skills, resources and support services. Patricia brings with her a toolbox of experiences to provide creative solutions for the many challenges kinship cargivers, such as herself, face. She looks forward to getting to know you face-to-face to understand your needs.
